Early Years Staff Recruitment Webinar

Thursday 9th June | 11:00am – 12:00pm

Save the Children's analysis reveals there is a shortage of around 2,000 graduate early years teachers in the most disadvantaged areas, where they are most needed. The charity says this must be the Government's first priority. The analysis reveals significant disparities across the country.

It is now more important than ever to recruit and retain good quality staff and take measure to bring in a positive change in the early years sector.

During this free virtual event, you’ll hear from our experts about the importance of skills and well-being of the staff in an early years provision in creating high standards of education and care for children. We aim to provide nursery practitioners and managers alike with some inspiration on steps you can consider right now.

The session will last for an hour including time for Q&A. Topics will include:

  • Recruiting and retaining the staff
  • Attracting quality staff
  • Tax-free childcare
  • Staff well-being
  • How we can all take part and help the sector
  • How NurseriesandSchools recruitment can help

When it comes to attracting and retaining talent within this sector, workforce recognition, time investment and sustained support help to make a difference to take a job someone likes to the one they love.

And while the industry challenges aren’t going away any time soon, if nursery managers and practitioners keep collaborating and believing in one another, it will go a long way in helping to tackle the challenges and come out the other side stronger.

We look forward to seeing you on the day!
