Subheading:
Private tutor Dr
Aliya offers one-to-one tuition for students in Ipswich, Suffolk, and the
surrounding area. She offers one - to - one online tuition via Skype.
Dr Aliya has
more than 12 years of experience in tutoring private, state and home-schooled
students of all ages, from KS2 (Year 4 and above) through to KS5 (Year 13). She
has taught a variety of subjects, including English, maths and science.
Her
one-to-one tuition has successfully prepared students for the 11+ and 13+
Common Entrance Exams for grammar and private school entrance. She also
provides valuable extra tuition for students studying A-level chemistry, GCSE
combined sciences, sciences (biology, chemistry and physics), and maths.
Her
friendly and supportive approach builds an excellent rapport with students, who
find her
lessons both enjoyable and instructive. Her positive learning culture
encourages students to exceed their expectations and she has helped students of
all abilities to meet their goals.
Private tuition
in Ipswich
Dr Aliya taught
in mainstream and private schools in Ipswich and Hertfordshire before branching
out to offer one-to-one teaching in the Suffolk area. In addition to her one-to-one
tutorials in Suffolk, she also provides online tuition to international and
UK-based students.
She said: “I
very much enjoy one-to-one teaching. When I taught in schools, I received a lot
of requests from parents who valued my teaching style, so I decided to focus exclusively
on private tuition.
“I find it
extremely rewarding to see the pupils I have taught meet their goals, exceed
their expectations and go on to achieve the results they wanted.”
Private
tuition gives students the time and attention they need, which can be difficult
to achieve in a regular classroom environment. With one-on-one tuition, she can
tailor classes to the individual and focus on the areas they need to improve on,
which helps boost the student’s confidence.
“I have seen
some students who struggle with their studies in a school/classroom environment
and felt that they could benefit from regular one-to-one tuition to improve
their understanding of a subject; hence, improve their grades and exam result,”
she said.
“It gives me a
great deal of joy when I receive feedback from parents and pupils to say that my
student has achieved either the grade they needed, an A* in their chosen
subject, or has gone on to secure a place at university.”
Dr Aliya’s
academic background means that she fully understands the needs and pressures of
the student and considers any hurdles they need to overcome. She sets rules to provide
clear expectations and believes in the creation of a positive, structured and
well-managed learning environment to help students learn more and to achieve at
a higher level. Her honest, patient and professional style provides a healthy
learning environment and brings out the very best in her pupils.
In addition,
her strong and adaptable communication skills help to build a good rapport with
her students. She appreciates that it often takes more than one attempt at
explaining something for a pupil to gain a greater understanding of a topic.
With her encouragement, Dr Aliya ensures that even the youngest of her students
feel confident and, above all, they have fun learning new subjects.
Her academic background
and experiences enable her to constantly update her teaching, analytical and
interpersonal skills that are required to teach effectively in various
environments, including face-to-face and online (for students based locally and
further afield).
Qualifications
Dr Aliya’s

She also
undertook additional degree studies following the completion of her PhD in
