AllKidsCan offer activities and respite provision for young people with all types of Special Educational Needs (SEN).
AllKidsCan has been commissioned by Royal Borough of Greenwich to deliver their short breaks programme, primarily based at Charlton Park Academy. Courses include on- and off-site activities including swimming, arts and crafts, sensory activities, sports and cooking. Excursions include zoo and farm trips, bowling, trampoline parks, museums, parks, seaside trips and much more. All activities are organised specifically for the groups needs to remain inclusive throughout.
AllKidsCan has vast experience in delivering activities for SEN pupils with all variation of needs. Whatever the individual needs of your child, they will have the opportunity to experience a whole array of diverse activities. Once we get to know their personality and abilities, a variety of fun activities can be specifically designed to keep kids active in a group environment with friends and peers of similar ages.
An inclusive school welcomes and involves all students - whatever their abilities and situation in life. There are social and academic benefits of an inclusive provision, combining friendship, respect and understanding of diversity while preparing for adult life.
Families also benefit from an inclusive provision. As one mum of a SEN student said:
He was doing new things, taking part and interacting which was a dream and gave us as parents confidence and a sense that he can have a piece of what other kids his age have; fun.
