At St Hilaryâs, we aim to educate the whole child by providing unequalled opportunities, support and encouragement for the on-going development of academic, creative, spiritual, social, cultural and physical aspects of our childrenâs lives.
Situated in the heart of Godalming, St Hilaryâs prides itself in providing an outstanding all-round education, equipping pupils not only with strong academic standards but also the essential qualities and skills required beyond their time at our school. Ultimately we strive to ensure that all our pupils develop a real thirst for learning.
Every child enjoys the benefits of well-qualified, enthusiastic staff and a broad curriculum combined with splendid facilities. Amenities include well-equipped classrooms, music wing, spacious hall for the performing arts, library, modern computing suite, design & technology and art studios, all-weather pitch and the Hiorns Centre for drama and dance. Small class sizes allow children to achieve their best in a dynamic and vibrant environment.
We are continually developing our outdoor areas, enabling boys and girls to learn outside the classroom all year round. With trails, nesting boxes and an open-air classroom, the woodland is a popular place to explore and is used for Forest School and features in lessons and activities across the curriculum. The Taurus Trail and Young Explorersâ Area provide further opportunity for pupils to challenge themselves during break times. Children are responsible for their own areas within the grounds and learn what is required to nurture and care for plants and flowers.
