Located in the Royal Burgh of Haddington in East Lothian, Spring Oscars @ Haddington is a 60 place out of school club providing care for primary school age children during both term time and school holidays. Our term time provision, consisting of breakfast and after school club, is open to children attending Haddington Primary and St.Maryâs RC Primary Schools. However, during school holiday periods, children from other schools in East Lothian can attend, while a limited number of pre-school children can attend during the summer holiday.
Based from the wonderful, modern facilities at the Haddington Joint Campus, Spring Oscars enjoys the use of the bright, spacious dining hall. The breakfast club is open from 0730hrs each morning during term time, enabling parents to their children off early before their work commute. The breakfast club offers a safe, welcoming and sociable environment for the children, where they can enjoy a healthy & nutritious breakfast, preparing them for the school day ahead. Children can also access our wide range of toys and resources to enjoy some play time with friends before school. Our friendly and professional staff team ensure all children arrive in the care of their class teacher safely and on time each morning.
Our after school club is open until 1800hrs each day during term time. Our experienced and qualified staff are on hand each day to collect children from their respective schools and classrooms before making their way to the after school club. Upon arrival, children enjoy a healthy and nutritious snack before enjoying endless play opportunities both indoors and outdoors. Our activities are carefully planned in advance with regular collaboration taking place between staff and children to ensure we provide the right balance and nature of activities the children will enjoy. The outdoor play spaces at Spring Oscars Haddington are fantastic and provide wonderful play opportunities and experiences for children, supported by our staff.
Our staff team in Haddington have really developed loose parts play and this is something the children really enjoy. The club has a wide range of loose parts play resources which are easily accessible for the children and staff to use in the playground, stimulating minds and creating new worlds of adventure in a safe, secure and fun environment.
