As a trusted certified paediatric sleep practitioner since 2016, registered NHS nurse and mother, I pride myself on always providing evidence based, honest advice with a caring style.
I've undergone a comprehensive training to become a certified sleep practitioner for babies and children. This has given me the very best tools and knowledge to help thousands of families over the years.
I know only too well that not getting enough sleep effects our state of mind, feelings, relationships and health. I feel strongly that healthy sleep habits make for healthy children. A well-rested child is curious, energetic, happy, playful, and eager to learn.
My approach
My methods incorporate the latest evidence based research. Providing up to date knowledge and advice is essential to help you achieve your sleep family sleep goals safely and effectively.
My gentle yet affective approach allows your child to feel supported and safe throughout. Sleep is an instrumental skill a child will have for their whole life, it is therefore important I work with you in a holistic way, to ensure we get your child sleeping better.
So what about the tears?
Crying is your child's way of protesting change. You can expect that making changes to their sleep habits will therefore result in some protest. However, you will never be asked to leave your child to cry alone for long periods of time, nor be asked to ignore their cries. The reason that my methods are so effective is because we develop a plan you are comfortable with, based on what you know about your child.
