Overview
Pendley Day Nursery is located in a fantastic setting in the Pendley Sports Centre, located near the centre of Tring. The setting enjoys a free flow configuration in a newly refurbished building (refurbished 2020) providing a high facility for children to learn and develop. There is extensive outdoor space for children to play and exercise under expert supervision. There is ample parking right outside the secure entry doors to make drop off and pick up times stress-free.
There is a real focus on quality, and the Nursery Manager/Owner sets the very highest standards and ensures children under their charge are nurtured in a secure and highly supportive environment.
The Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum is followed, incorporating the seven key areas of learning through planned activities and free play. The focus is on learning and development in early years, whilst ensuring that children have fun and enjoy themselves - recognising that this is when children learn best.
As well as structured learning, an emphasis is placed on developing social skills, emotional intelligence and awareness. Physical wellbeing is also a priority, and the extensive outdoor space and sporting links are used to give children an interest in exercise and fitness.
