At Millwood House Day Nursery, we see daily the advantages that nursery care has to offer children.

For some children, attending Millwood House Day Nursery may be the first time they have been away from their main carers, so building new relationships within the setting is vital for their emotional wellbeing. Spending time with other children helps a child to develop new skills such as communication, sharing, listening, manners, equality, and fine motor skills such as holding a pencil or modelling play dough.

All these skills help a child become independent and, as they work through the nursery from The Baby Room to The Caterpillar Room and finally to The Butterfly Room, where they become school ready.
