Overview

Little Wellies Wrose was established in 2014. Since then, it has grown into a busy, thriving nursery. Our children enjoy a wide range of play opportunities in three well equipped rooms. Each room has its own outdoor area and children have access to these at all times. Our two year old room is in its own specially built log cabin, where children thrive in a vibrant and cosy environment, with direct access to the outdoors.

Little Wellies, Wrose is split into three rooms. “Splash” (our under twos room), provides a real home from home experience for our very youngest children. It is led by a highly qualified and experienced under twos practitioner and works on a ratio of at least one practitioner to every three children, ensuring that children receive focussed care and attention suited to their individual needs. Our two year old children move into “Rainbows,” our purpose built log cabin in the nursery grounds. The cabin is fully heated and insulated and provides a wonderful environment for the children.

It is fully resourced and has direct access to its own outdoor environment, which includes an astro-turf play area, a mud kitchen, sandpit and plenty of space for physical play. For our 3-4 year old children, we have a bright, spacious pre-school area on the ground floor of the main building, named “Sunbeams.” This includes two well-resourced play rooms, with direct access to an outdoor play area, comprising of its own vegetable garden, mud kitchen and outdoor role play area.
