Overview

We aim to provide a friendly, happy provision where children will have the opportunity to thrive in an environment which stimulates their personal needs. Identifying each child’s personal needs will be at the centre of our ethos, supporting them in achieving to the best of their potential in a fun and caring setting.

As two early years teachers, we have an excellent knowledge and understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage and are committed to ensuring that the overarching principles of the curriculum are at the heart of our practice. A wide range of resources will be available, facilitating indoor and outdoor learning, encouraging the children to reach their full potential. Children’s likes and interests will also be used to ensure that the activities are fun, purposeful and relevant. These activities will also be planned with the aim of providing for the different ways that children learn.

We aim to ensure that the three prime areas of the curriculum; communication and language, physical development and personal, social and emotional development are cemented within the children’s learning in order to develop curious and independent learners who will go on to thrive in the specific areas; mathematics, literacy, expressive arts and design and understanding of the world.
