Overview

The nursery is incorporated into 3 warm and welcoming rooms which all provide the continuous provision of indoor and outdoor learning as they all have individual access to fantastic play areas.

High Acres boasts 2 large outdoor areas, which both have natural grass and encompassing learning opportunities for all children. The home planting within the growing patch gives children the knowledge and understanding of the foods they are eating and gives them the opportunity to engage in conversations about healthy living. The nursery is able to use the homegrown resources in everyday menus. Forest school is a place where children can experience natural learning through activities such as getting involved within a mini beast hunt, being creative in the mud kitchen and developing their problem-solving skills at a cascading water wall.
