Bracknell Baseball Club was formed by a group of like-minded enthusiasts in 1992.
In its formative years the focus was on simply generating a baseball presence in both the local community and in competitive league play.
With an influx of young players at the start of the 2000's, a youth programme for baseball was created and from this came 7 National Championships in consecutive years at 17U & 14U.
In 2009 with a number of years of playing at the very highest level in British Baseball, the NBL - National Baseball League, Bracknell won the Adult National Championship.
Their have been ups and downs since those days and we had downsized to a single adult team but the club is moving into a new and successful era. The last few years have been a highlight reel of achievements as we gained promotion into the BBF Double A league in 2022 and fell just one point short of the playoffs in 2023.
Such has been the achievement and growth that we gained promotion to Triple A, but also have the depth to play a second squad at Single A. This offers us a huge opportunity to put Bracknell firmly back on the map, with the facility to welcome everyone to the sport regardless of experience.
Our squad includes under 18s and over 50's and everything in between, all fitness levels and is of course fully gender inclusive. We pride ourselves on being a supportive, friendly and family orientated club whilst staying competitive and driven, and we have huge plans for the future.
We play home games at Westmorland Park, Warfield, RG42 3QP, on a purpose built diamond with support from Bracknell Forest Borough Council and from Warfield Parish Council. Although predominantly a summer sport, we endeavour to practise and play for as much as the weather and ground conditions allow. This includes an indoor training programme during preseason to get us match ready for the spring.
Over 30 years of history and our ethos remains the same, to play our part in our local community and play stellar baseball
