We are recruiting for an experienced Manager for the role of Management Support for 2 settings. They have recently started a brand new nursery in Eastcote HA4 area with excellent transport links and parking facility.

You must have strong knowledge of the EYFS, good communication, organisational and interpersonal skills. Be highly motivated and have a positive attitude towards working with children. Our client has achieved an OUTSTANDING award from Ofsted for their 1^st setting.

Hours – 40 hours / week working with a variety of shifts between 7.30am-6pm offering at least one half day per week

Your role as a Support Manager to the Director includes-

·         Working as part of senior management to ensure both nurseries run smoothly and efficiently.

·         Becoming familiarised with the nursery's policies and procedures and supporting staff to follow these.

·         Leading a team, encouraging and raising practice daily.

·         Delegating tasks to the teams to ensure the smooth running of the rooms.

·         Forming professional and friendly partnerships with parents and forming secure relationships with the children.

·         Being a part of the Senior Management team to contribute to staff performance management and appraisals.

·         Oversee display boards and the setting up of a stimulating, warm environment prepared for the children including the garden in accordance with the 7 areas of learning.

·         Conducting peer observations and management spot checks. Focusing on the quality of interaction and the high levels of practice.

·         Creating children's health care plans.

·         Mentoring and training Deputy Managers & Room Leaders.

·         Being involved in parent events.

·         Monitoring all daily and weekly checks are completed to a high standard.

·         To ensure professionalism and confidentiality at all times

Person Specification for the ideal Third In Charge

·         Level 3 in Childcare & Education and an extensive experience working within a Montessori classroom

·         Montessori qualification from MCI /AMI London will be a Plus!

·         Previous experience of working as a Nursery Manager / Deputy Manager is essential.

·         The ability to deliver high-quality practice and be a role model for your team.

·         Strong knowledge of the EYFS and safeguarding procedures.

·         Excellent communication skills.

·         Good ICT skills
