Nursery Practitioner Flexible Role

Exciting Opportunity for an Experienced Nursery Practitioner in West London! Join a team that values your expertise and makes every day inspiring for both staff and children.

An Outstanding busy nursery in West London is seeking an experienced Nursery Practitioner to join their dynamic team in the new year. You'll be part of a supportive environment where exceptional care and education for children come first. If you're enthusiastic about shaping young minds, have a solid understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), and hold a Level 2 or Level 3 Childcare qualification, we'd love to hear from you!

Salary: GBP25k to GBP29k

Location - Chiswick W4

Flexible Working Options: You can choose to work full-time 40 hours/ week or opt for a 3/4-day working week, giving you the flexibility to balance your career and personal life.

Duties for Nursery Practitioner include:

  • Provide high quality care and activities for the children and to recognise both individual and group requirements in a secure, safe and stimulating environment.
  • Deliver the Early Years Foundation Stage framework and any other appropriate guidance for young children in accordance with nursery policy and guidelines.
  • Work in partnership with parents/carers, recognising that parents are their children's first educators, and encourage parental involvement in the nursery.
  • Assist and attend parents' meetings and open days.
  • Help Maintain the safety and security of all children, employees and visitors to the Nursery.
  • Help carry out regular assessments to ensure all Nursery Health and Safety procedures are followed.

Qualification & Skills Required for Early Years Practitioner:

  • Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Level 2 with Nursery experience.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.
  • Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework.
  • First Aid and Safeguarding training (preferred).

The positions are subject to an Enhanced DBS certificate and references.
