VD Recruitment has partnered with a lovely Preschool Montessori Nursery in Fulham that follows the  Montessori approach for teaching and learning for children aged 2-5 years. They also promote Mindful Yoga Sessions for the children, Art & Music and Spanish language class and adventurous real world experiences in nature in their outdoor sessions.

We are recruiting a MONTESSORI TEACHER – TERM TIME  to join their dynamic team at the Ofsted Rated ‘Good’ nursery. You’ll need to be highly committed to providing children with the very best care and education.

The successful candidate will have strong knowledge of EYFS, an understanding of children’s development and hold a Montessori Diploma from MCI London .

Salary:

£25,000 to £28,000 Per Annum FT

£17,500 to £20,000 Per Annum PT

Location – Fulham SW6

TERM TIME – 36 Weeks Working !!

Hours –

Full Time between 7.45am to 4pm (Mon-Fri)

Part Time 7.45am to 1.30pm (Mon-Thu) & 7.45am to 2pm on Fri

• Provide high quality care and activities for the children following Montessori Ethos and to recognize both individual and group requirements in a secure, safe and stimulating environment.
• Ensure child profiles in your rooms are up to date and relevant.
• Ensure parent issues and concerns are dealt with promptly and accurately. Ensure management are informed and consulted where relevant.
• Participate in room and staff meetings.
• Support co-ordinators such as SENCO, Equal Opportunities in their roles.
• Lead the staff team to deliver high quality practice within the nursery.
• Ensure a high standard of physical, emotional, social and intellectual care and development for children placed in the Day Nursery.
• Creating stimulating activities for children inside and outside the nursery.
• Carrying out joint/peer observations.
• Working closely with room leaders.

 Person Specification for Montessori Teacher -

• Montessori qualification from MCI /AMI London and a strong desire to make a difference!
• 1 - 2 years experience of working in the Preschool Room.
• The ability to deliver high-quality practice.
• Strong knowledge of the EYFS and safeguarding procedures.
• Excellent communication skills.

The positions are subject to an Enhanced DBS certificate and references.
