Early Years Educator

Location: East Dulwich (SE22)

Hours: 35- 40 hours shift  (Monday to Friday)

Salary: Starting salary up to £30k (negotiable dependent on experience and qualifications)

Contract: Full-Time, Permanent

We are recruiting for a truly unique Early Years organisation located in South East London, who are looking for exceptional, qualified, and experienced Early Years Educators to join the team at their long-standing Outstanding-rated setting.

Responsibilities: Duties

  • Planning and leading a range of play-based learning activities
  • completing observations/reports using software
  • Meeting with parents and providing daily/termly updates
  • supporting children with special needs
  • Provide high-quality care and education to children aged 0-5
  • Plan and implement EYFS-appropriate activities, ensuring they are stimulating and engaging
  • Create a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow

Requirements: Early Years Educator

  • A minimum of a relevant Level 3 childcare qualification or QTS, EYT or EYP qualification
  • First Aid, Health & Safety, Food, Hygiene, Safeguarding and any other training Certificate
  • Minimum 1 year of post-qualified experience working in a Pre-school / Nursery Setting with 0-5 years old
  • Good working knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage and current Ofsted statutory guidance.
  • Awareness and understanding of  the regulations relating to early years’ education.
  • Awareness of purposeful planning for children in childcare settings.
