Level 3 Nursery Practitioner – Montessori Nursery (Tiny Baby Room)

VD Recruitment is excited to partner with a reputable chain of independent Montessori nurseries in the Wembley & Harrow area. Known for its high standards in Montessori teaching, this small and cozy 40-place nursery (Ofsted Rated “Good”) provides a nurturing environment for children and an encouraging workplace for staff. We are seeking a dedicated Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join the team full-time in the Tiny Baby Room, which accommodates a maximum of 6 babies.
Position: Nursery Practitioner (Tiny Baby Room)
Salary: £23,700 to £26,000 per annum + Benefits
Hours: Full-time (40 hours per week, rotating shifts between 8 am to 6 pm) or 4 full days per week (8 am to 6 pm)

Key Responsibilities:
Provide Quality Care: Foster a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment tailored to individual and group needs.
Observe, Assess, and Plan: Monitor and plan activities to meet each child’s unique developmental needs, creating opportunities for progress.
Deliver EYFS Framework: Implement the Early Years Foundation Stage framework following nursery policies and guidelines.
Build Strong Parent Relationships: Work collaboratively with parents, recognizing their role as primary educators and encouraging their involvement.
Support Nursery Events: Assist in parents’ meetings, open days, and other events to maintain strong family-nursery relationships.
Ensure Health & Safety: Carry out regular safety assessments, ensuring compliance with health and safety protocols.
Use Nursery App: Use the nursery’s digital platform for documentation and communication (training provided).
Ideal Candidate Requirements:
Minimum Level 3 in Childcare & Education.
Strong knowledge of EYFS, safeguarding procedures, and an ability to deliver high-quality practice.
Excellent verbal and written communication and ICT skills.
Team Player: Positive role model with a commitment to teamwork and continuous development.
