Tropiquaria is in a unique setting on the edges of Exmoor and the Quantocks, close by the sea.
We are small zoo based in and around an old "Art Deco" BBC Radio Transmitter station. This Grade II Listed building houses our Reptile Hall, Nocturnal House and Aquarium. The grounds house our outdoor collection
We are also an animal sanctuary and work closely with the RSPCA and other exotic wildlife organisations, to help rescue and rehome animals.
Tropiquaria is pleased to be able to admit large, pre-booked, groups at discounted rates, whether the visit is educational, entirely for fun, or for a mixture of the two. Education can be FUN! Both directors take the welfare of disabled and disadvantaged groups very seriously and with notice can arrange to make the visits of such groups more rewarding....
By adopting one of our animals you will be contributing towards the care of our animals and supporting us in our conservation and breeding projects.
We have many animals of whom you can adopt for a range of prices starting from as little as £25.
We also offer gift adoptions which are an ideal present for an animal lover. Adoption packages are valid for one year from the day of purchase..
