Did you know a dragonfly nymph can shoot part of its mouth out like a spear to catch prey, all in under a second? Join us for a Wildlife Day Camp for 8- 12 year olds, with a focus on some our of native wildlife and their amazing abilities. Fully supervised by trained staff, without the need for parental supervision. Wildlife themed activities for children to explore and engage in the great outdoors! The day is packed full of activities, games and crafts to help young people connect with the fantastic natural world that surrounds them and learn about some of our native wildlife. This day camp will run from 10:00am to 3:00pm Over the course of the day, children can expect to: ð³ Connect with nature and learn about wildlife ð³ Meet new like-minded friends and join Team Wilder ð³ Create fun wildlife crafts to take home N.B. Tickets for this event close 48 hours before the start time. Terms & conditions Only those booked onto the session can attend as we adhere to strict supervisory ratios. During the session your child will be supported to enable them to engage in all activities. All activities will take place outdoors or in undercover areas if raining. If feeling ill, please do not attend the day WHAT TO BRING: Each attendee must complete and return the parental consent form sent out with the ticket information. Dress for the weather in clothes and sturdy shoes that you don't mind getting a bit grubby. Please check the weather forecast and bring waterproofs, warm layers, sun hat, sun protection as appropriate and wear insect repellent. We will be outside for most of the session. Please bring a bottle of water and your own packed lunch and break time snack e.g. fruit. Dietary requirements are requested in case an additional snack or drink is offered by staff. Do not bring any nuts please. This club is for children only - Adults are on site to drop off, register and then pick up at given timings. Parents please register your child with the leader at the registration desk before departing. Dress for the weather in clothes and sturdy shoes that you don't mind getting dirty.
