This is delivered over 8 sessions from Dec - Mar
(4 after school sessions and 4 day's out). At the end we will all meet for a meal out to celebrate.
Designed for 15-19 year olds who are neurodiverse and who want to meet others in safe and welcoming spaces for hands-on and fun learning all around the topic of Staying Safe.
The sessions are led by experienced staff, including some who are neurodivergent themselves. Sessions come from a postitive and accepting place of our neurodiverse backgrounds, where we want to learn together without masking.
Teens attending these sessions will need to be able to participate with some level of independence. (We are unable to offer 1 to 1 support). Sessions take place with a ratio of 1 adult to 8 teens.
The main aims of the sessions are to:
Understand personal risks.
Increase confidence and skills.
Develop relationships.
Able to seek support.

Healthy Relationships (including spotting abuse and seeking help)
Money Safety (including financial scams)
Online Safety
Sexual Safety (including consent)
Alcohol, drugs, health & wellbeing
Community Safety and Travel Training
Behaviour & Communication
