Run Kids Run is a social impact initiative which organises fun runs for primary schools with the aim of promoting health and fitness, bringing communities together and fundraising for schools.
Since 2020, we have held various events in Islington, Camden, Newham, Southwark and Battersea raising over GBP500k for state primary schools. We mobilise each school community to fundraise for a specific improvement project and bring local corporate sponsors to support their fundraising efforts.
Following the success from last year's event wich brought together 15 local schools, we are thrilled to be returning to Highbury Fields on Sunday 7th July at 10am for another fun run event.
This year we will supporting 20 local primary schools and we need your help!
We are inviting all primary school aged children from nursery to year 6 and their parents who want to challenge themselves to a 1km/2km run and join our fundraising efforts to support their community schools that are participating:
This year's participating schools are: Thornhill, Canonbury, SMMA, Laycock, Drayton Park, William Tyndale, St John's Highbury Vale, St Andrews Barnsbury, Vittoria, Hanover, Ashmount, Prior Weston, Our Lady & St Joseph and 7 new schools: Thomas Fairchild, Shacklewell, Tufnell Park, Grafton, Moreland, Newington Green and Christ the King Primary School.
It will be a morning of fun and fitness with warm-ups and games, medals and snacks for all participants.
The youngest runners (nursery and reception children) will complete a 1km with their parents while and runners from years 1 - 6 will tackle the 2km.
