Kids Creative Workshop for 4-9 year olds.
Come join us at Applecart Arts for a fun-filled day of creativity and imagination! Our Kids Creative Workshop is the perfect place for your little ones to explore their artistic side. The theme for the day will be family and love.
Your child will create their very own house nightlight and decorate a wooden hanging heart. All resources will be provided, including an LED tealight they can take home to use with their nightlight.
The creative activity will be followed by a story time, with award winning author Husna reading her delightful children's story "I Lost Something Very Special".
Let your kids unleash their creativity in a supportive and inspiring environment.
This is NOT a drop off session, for safety you will be required to stay with your child. However I do ask that adults sit back and not get involved so your child can take control of their creativity. Applecart Arts have their own cafe with delicious coffee that you can sit back and enjoy.
The creative workshop will be led by Majida Rahman - artist and former primary teacher and play worker (and aunt to 12!).
Story time is with award winning children's author Husna Rahman. She is also a qualified therapist.
Both Majida and Husna hold DBS checks and have MANY years experience working with children.
Please note "I Lost Something Very Special" is a children's story based on loss and grief and there is a mention of death.
