is an interactive theatre show for children aged 6-10,
that received Arts Council funding for development to work within
schools. The show is written and performed by Keith Farnan, a
former solicitor who, before practicing in Ireland, worked as an
intern in the Innocence Project, New York and the Georgia
Multicounty Public Defenders Office researching appeals against
the death penalty. Having left law for comedy, he has since
appeared on Michael McIntyreâs Comedy Roadshow, Montrealâs Just
for Laughs, Showtimeâs Live from Amsterdam as well as Money,
Money, Money, his own stand-up documentary about the collapse of
the Irish economy for RTE. His shows, which have toured the
world, look at inequalities in society and Kidocracy is very much in
keeping with his work in making important issues accessible and
entertaining.
