This includes over 50 species, many of which are now breeding at the centre or can be seen flying in our daily demonstrations. We have also become a wildlife sanctuary and house a variety of animals including, Meerkats, African Servals, Farm Animals, Huskies and more!
Eagle Heights is actively working on wildlife conservation here in the UK, centre based, full details can be found on our conservation page, and we are also assisting with conservation in West Africa.
Eagle Heights started in 1996 as a philanthropic family and friends organisation. It gained foundation status in 2014. Eagle Heights was founded by Alan & Sally Ames.
Day to day running is now undertaken by their son Jonathan, daughter Samantha and their capable team. Jonathan and Samantha have been part of Eagle Heights from the start and have the knowledge, passion, and skills to continue the Foundation for the next generation.
The brother and sister team is focussing on some key areas for development over the next few years, the first is the movement of the Eagles from the inside to a new weathering outside, improving their enrichment and creating a more natural environment. Secondly is the aspiration to become an Access for A attraction, raising money for facilities for disabled visitors and those with Sensory Needs as this is a personal passion for the two.
