trawberry Hill Golf Club is a compact, challenging nine hole course for golfers of all standards. We are situated in a quiet and leafy part of Twickenham, less than five minutes walk from Strawberry Hill railway station and with excellent access to the motorway network (M3/M25).
Our aim is that members and visitors enjoy a memorable golf experience. Whether you are looking for golf membership, visitor golf, a society golf venue or function hire, Strawberry Hill Golf Club is the perfect location. We look forward to welcoming you in the near future.
The course was designed in 1900 by J H Taylor, one of the pioneers of the modern game of golf. Among his other achievements, he won the Open Championship five times, formed the PGA, and designed Royal Birkdale, still a regular Open venue.
It has remained largely unchanged since it was first laid out and still bears Taylor’s familiar hallmarks, including the small humps and hollows on several holes which look harmless and yet seem to come into play far too often.
J H Taylor would be proud of the way his nine-hole gem has withstood the test of time and it remains a testimony to his skill as a great course designer.
