Charlotte began her working life in the NHS after gaining a first class honours degree in Nutrition and Human Biology and then a Postgraduate Degree from Bristol University in Nutrition and Public Health. Since then Charlotte has worked in various areas of nutrition but enjoys nothing more than reading, writing and talking about her specialist area â Maternal, Baby & Childrenâs Nutrition.
Charlotte has supported thousands of families with feeding their babies, toddlers and young children, especially since her audience has grown on social media. If youâre a parent looking for help with feeding your baby or toddler, Charlotte has created lots of free resources on this site to help at each stage of your childâs feeding journey. For those starting weaning, her book âHow to Wean Your Babyâ will give you all the knowledge you need to feed your baby with confidence, and importantly enable you to enjoy the weaning journey too.
Charlotte works consulting with brands, celebrities and in the media commenting on the nutrition matters of the day. Her work has previously been quoted in Mother & Baby, Harperâs Bazaar, The Metro, The Guardian, The Telegraph, Womenâs Health and Red magazine and many more. She also featured in the BBC programme âFood: Truth or Scareâ over three years, and has appeared across all main UK channels and radio stations, most recently Charlotte was on Jamie & Jimmyâs Friday Night Feast talking about iodine and childrenâs health.
Charlotte has received numerous awards for her work, and last year won the Best Blog and Best Online Resource for Weaning Week 2020. After many years producing evidence based online content for families, Charlotte was delighted to see her work recognised in this way.
